UAB “Sistemų registras” is committed to treating as confidential any information obtained during the assessment of a client’s management system for compliance with certification requirements, except for information that has been made publicly available by the client. Any such information may only be used for the purpose of performing certification services.

When UAB “Sistemų registras” is legally required to disclose confidential information to a third party, the client will be informed in advance of the information being provided, except in cases where this is prohibited by law. Information obtained about the client from sources other than the client (e.g., in the case of a complaint) shall also be treated as confidential.

This obligation of confidentiality applies during the certification process and continues afterward, covering both current and former clients, including those who were denied services.

Principles of Ensuring Confidentiality

• UAB “Sistemų registras” commits to taking all necessary technical and organizational measures to prevent the unauthorized use or disclosure of confidential information.

• Access to confidential information is granted only when required for the employee to perform their direct duties.

• Any decision to disclose information to a third party must be justified and documented.
